About the Concept
To solve a common issue my friends and I faced, I developed a UI concept for an app called Wannawatch that allows users to create a list of movies they want to watch, find recommendations, and connect with friends over the love of film.
Picture This
You’re sitting on the couch, scrolling through an endless streaming library, asking each other yet again: “What do you want to watch?” Enter Wannawatch.
Keep an up-to-date list of movies you have an interest in seeing, and Wannawatch will let you know if a friend shares your taste. Keep track of which movies you would, and wouldn’t, watch again.
Browse for movies to add to your wannawatch list, or get served a random title based on your preferred genres and other criteria. Skip it, add it to your list, or mark it as a would-watch or wouldn’t-watch again.
Connect with your friends and see if you have any wannawatch list matches, or have fun judging their taste in cinema.
